Ducked in for a couple of hours browsing over the gorgeous old vintage cars and memorabilia at the Motorlife museum at Kembla Grange, Wollongong. Some beautiful old girls on show, including an exquisite Minerva EE (apparently the only one in the world). Trust me, the pictures of this stunning vehicle do not do it justice. And, as an aside, I messed with my crummy camera and had the image resolution down way lower than it should have been, so the pictures, unfortunately, are quite pixelated. Twenty dollars per person to visit might seem a little steep, but you are supporting a totally volunteer run museum, and it was worth every cent to help these dedicated volunteers maintain and keep the museum running in its pristine state. And it really was an immaculate presentation inside and out. Not sure how many cars and exhibitions were on show. It does change from time to time as a lot of the vehicles are on loan from collectors, but many are donated. For a couple of hours strolling through the collection, I would say it was time very well spent. Go here to check out their main website. Below is a sample of what was on display.
Heavy Meddle 1956 Ford F100 Australia
Yes, folks, I'm back again with another F100 project! Can't wait to get stuck in! Hope you follow along if only for the laughs!
Yes, that's right! We've got ourselves another truck to work on. It's a 1956 F100 and I can tell you it is gonna take a TON of work to get her up and running. So, as I used to say (and still do) stick around...things could get ugly!
